At Washburn: Had a 5-2 pitching record in 39 appearances making seven starts adding three saves in 80 innings pitched with a 2.80 earned run average with 73 strikeouts and nine combined shutouts … a two-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2024: Started three games while appearing in 13 overall recording a 1.11 earned runs average in 19 innings pitched … was part of four combined shutouts … struck out 19 batters allowing one walk … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2023: Made 26 appearances in the circle in her first season as an Ichabod going 5-2 with three saves … tossed 61 innings striking out 54 … struck out a season-high seven against Bridgeport in a 5-0 win … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: In 2022, earned NJCAA All-America honors as a pitcher as well as being named a three-time Division II Region II pitcher of the week and was also named the NJCAA Division II National Pitcher of the Week after going 19-3 with one save with a 2.65 earned run average striking out 126 in 105-plus of innings pitched helping Murray State to a national runner up at the NJCAA World Series … as a freshman at MSC, Cheek was 17-3 during the season helping the team to the regional championship and the Plains Championship earning a national pitcher of the week honor as well as being named to the all-region team.

Personal: Daughter of Scott and Kimberly Cheek … a sister, Miranda … majoring in psychology.
