Kolten Schulte has been at Washburn since 2019 working with the Ichabod baseball, volleyball and junior varsity basketball programs entering his third season as a member of the athletic training staff.
The 2019 Washburn graduate, graduated with a degree in Athletic Training where he was the vice president of the student organization and worked with football, women's basketball, volleyball, and baseball as an undergraduate student from 2016. In December of 2020, He graduated with his M.S. in health and sports sciences with an emphasis in exercise science and sport performance from American Public University and is certified as a corrective exercise specialist. During the summer of 2019, he served as the team leader for all of Washburn summer camps delivering Gatorade products to various camp locations across campus.
In the community, he has also worked with the Sunflower State Games and Frito Lay for COVID-19 screening. Volunteering experience also includes the US army ROTC Buddy Ranger Camp for first aid and emergency care, working with physicians for the Justin Boots Sports Medicine Rodeo Team during a PRCA rodeo, and the Invicta (all-pro women’s) MMA fighting championships to assist in concussion management. Â
He is a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association.Â
