At Washburn: A two-year member of the Ichabods after transferring from McPherson.

In 2023 (cross country): Sat out the cross country season … (track): Sat out the season … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and MIAA Academic Excellence listing.

In 2022-23: Sat out both the cross country and track seasons as a redshirt.

Background: A transfer from McPherson where he competed in cross country as a freshman competing in six events finishing second at the Carol Swenson Invite in the 5K race and finished 17th overall at the MSSU Stampede … placed 42nd at the Chile Pepper Festival and then finished second at the Great Plains Intercollegiate Invite …  at Washburn Rural he was 15th at the league championships as a senior in the 1600m and was 13th at the state championship meet in cross country and was third in the regional meet and the league meet his senior season … placed 10th at the city championships as a junior  and finished 51st as the state championship as a sophomore and was the league champions as a freshman.

Personal: Son of Branden and Victoria Holmes … two brothers, Levi an Elijah … a sister, Sophia … majoring in biology.
