Background: Member of Louisburg Wildcats track and field team where he won 4A state championships in pole vault as a sophomore and junior … member of 4A state championship team as a freshman … also played football, recording 33 catches for 510 yards and four touchdowns as a senior, while adding 66 tackles and one interception returned for a touchdown.
Personal: Son of Tracie and Lane Caplinger … has two sisters, Jada and Carli … majoring in business and sports management.
