Former three-time All-American Daniel Roberts is in his first full season as an assistant coach with the Ichabod track and field team. Roberts, who was the 2017 NCAA D2 champion in the outdoor hammer throw picked up three All-American honors at Ashland University.
Prior to Ashland, Roberts set the school record in the shot put, discus and hammer throws earning five All-American honors at Modesto Junior College. At Mobridge-Pollock High School in Mobridge, South Dakota, he was a 12-time letter winner in wrestling, basketball, football and track and field and was a four-time state placer in the discus and three-time state placer in the shot put. Discus All-American and honorable-mention All-American.
Roberts assisted with the Ichabod throwers during the 2020-21 season.
