A native of Richland, Kan. and former NCAA Division I thrower, Kellsey Trimble is in her second season as an assistant coach with the Ichabod track program. Trimble will assist with the throwers, as well as strength and conditioning.

As a senior at the University of Hawaii, Trimble qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary in the javelin finishing 34th and placed seventh in the WAC outdoor championships. She finished eighth as a junior in the javelin. She was a two-time conference champion at Neosho County Community College in the javelin. 

Trimble graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 2008, where she competed in cross country and track and field. She formerly worked as a magazine editor in the publishing industry before making the career change to coaching.
