At Washburn: In his first season at Washburn he entered five events with two top-10 finishes.
In 2025-26: Competed in five events with three during the outdoor slate … finished ninth at the MIAA Outdoor Championships in the hammer with a personal-best throw of 57.55m (188-10) … was seventh at the ESU Relays in the hammer … placed 15th in the shot put at the UCM Mule Relays with a mark of 14.04m and had a personal best in the shot put with a 16th-place finish with a mark of 14.46m (47-05.25).
Background: Finished ninth at the USATF National Junior Olympics in the hammer and was fifth in the discus after his senior year where he finished seventh in the shot put at the state meet … finished 10th at the USATF National Junior in the shot put and was 22nd in the hammer … finished second at the Oklahoma state meet in the shot put as a junior.
Personal: Son of Terry and Ashley Heatherman … father played football at the US Naval Academy … majoring in nursing.
