At Washburn: Has the third-best throw in the indoor shot put and weight throw and has the outdoor record in the shot put and seventh-best mark in discus and hammer throw … in football he has appeared in 33 games making 25 starts on the offensive line … a combined 15-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll as well as a member of the Ichabod football team.

In 2020-21: Scored two points with a seventh-place finish in the shot put at the MIAA Outdoor Championships … set the school record in the outdoor shot put with a second-place finish at the UCM Kennedy Invitational at 17.03m (55-10.50) … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2019-20: Earned one point for his eighth-place finish in the weight throw with a mark of 17.56m (57-07.50) setting a personal best at the MIAA Indoor Championships … also had a personal best in the shot put at the MIAA Indoor Championships … won the weight throw at the Tjeerdsma Classic … finished third in the shot put at the KSU Steve Miller Open in the shot put … outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19 … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2018-19: Had a season-best fifth-place finish in the shot put at the ESU Relays with a mark of 15.58m (51-01.50) during the outdoor season … finished fourth in the shot put at the Jayhawk Classic during the indoor season with a throw of 15.07m (49-05.50) … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2017-18: Had six top-10 showings during the season including a fifth- and sixth-place finsh in the shot and the weight throw at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational … recorded a PR in the hammer throw at the MIAA vs NSIC Showdown with a mark of 34.61 (113-06) … also a member of the Ichabod football team.

In 2016-17: Participated in throwing events for the Ichabod track and field team recording the third- and fourth-best discus tosses in school history … also played in seven games on the offensive line as a freshman … finished sixth at KSU Open in eight toss and took seventh in the shot put in the indoor season … had third-best toss in school history in the discus in outdoor season at PSU Classic with throw of 43.00m … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: A member of the Ichabod football team where he played in seven games as a true freshman in 2016 … in high school he was a four-year performer on the Bears’ football and track and field teams … earned first team all-district section on the offensive line as a senior … also played on the USA Football U19 national select team.

Personal: Son of Scott and Cheryl Dunkle … anticipated major is actuarial studies.
