At Washburn: A four-time All-American … has competed in 48 events … owns the school record in the indoor long jump adding the top four all-time performances in program history and has the second-best mark in the outdoor long jump … has seven of the top 10 jumps in program history in both the indoor and five of the top 10 marks in the long jump during the outdoor season … a 11-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

In 2023-24: Competed in eight events during the season winning individual titles at the WU Rust Buster and the WU Alumni Invitational in the long jump … a national indoor qualifier finishing 14th at the NCAA Indoor Championships … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2022-23: Earned first-team All-American honors after finishing fifth in the long jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships and was an all-MIAA honoree after finishing second in the indoor long jump at the conference championships … finished eighth at the MIAA Outdoor Championships … had 10 top-10 finishes and an individual title at the WU Alumni Invitational to open the season  … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2021-22: Was a first-team All-America after finishing second at the NCAA Indoor Championships with an indoor PR of 7.76m (25-05.50) and won the MIAA Championship at the indoor meet … earned second team All-American honors in the long jump at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and was the MIAA Champion in the outdoor long jump … recorded the second-fastest individual time in the 60m in a time of 6.92 … had five individual titles during the season … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2020-21: Won the Ichabod Invite during the indoor season with a mark of 7.30m (23-11.50) setting a Washburn record … placed fifth at the MIAA Indoor Championships … during the outdoor season he finished 12th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the long jump after a pair of jumps of 7.21m (23-08.00) … had three runner-up finishes during the outdoor season … broke the outdoor long jump record at 7.51m (24-07.75) at the SBU Invitational breaking the school record that had stood since 1963 … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

In 2019-20: Recorded best long jump in indoor program history at 7.20m (23-07.75) with a third-place finish at the Tjeerdsma Classic … had a PR in the 60m at 7.18 which is the 10th-best time in program history  … outdoor season canceled due to COVID 19 … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

In 2018-19: Sat out the season as a redshirt … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

Background: As a senior he was a state medalist at the 4A meet finishing fifth in the long jump and triple jump and seventh in the high jump and finished second in the 4x100m relay winning league titles in long jump, triple jump and high jump … also an all-state punter and all-league honorable mention pick at defensive back … finished ninth in the triple jump at the state meet as a junior … also played basketball.

Personal: Son of Ben and Lisa Last … majoring in entrepreneurship and innovation … his father was a two-sport All-American in football and track and Baker … brother Austin played football at Independence Community College … a sister Whitney and another brother Izayah.
