At Washburn: Has competed in 11 events, all in the javelin … has the eighth-best individual performance in the javelin in program history … a three-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2022-23: Competed in five events finishing a season-best 13th at the FHSU Francis Classic in the javelin with mark of 40.09m (131-06) … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2021-22: Sat out the 2021-22 season.

In 2020-21: Had a career-best mark in the javelin in his collegiate debut with a throw of 46.06m (151-01) for a 16th-place finish at the ESU Spring Invite … placed eighth at the UCM Kennedy Invite with a throw of 43.64m (143-02) … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: Part of team regional champions as a junior and team captured city title as a sophomore … recorded a personal record mark of 160-11 at the Seaman Relays as a senior recording three top-10 finishes.

Personal: Son of Eric and Shelly Grospitch … a sister, Lauryn … major is exploratory … his father played football at Fort Hays State and is Washburn's Vice President for Student Life.
