At Washburn: Has competed in 55 events … on the indoor record charts, he has the seventh-best mark individual performance in the shot put in program history and the third-best individual mark and has the third-best performance in the discus during the outdoor season and the second-best mark in the hammer throw and the eighth-best shot put mark on the individual performance charts … a seven-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2024-25: Competed in 12 events recording a personal-best and a second-place finish in the hammer throw at the MIAA Outdoor Championship with a throw of 59.19m (194-02) earning all-MIAA honors … had 16 top-10 finishes overall … a member of the mIAA Acadmic Honor Roll … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2023-24: Competed in 13 events during the season recording 15 top-10 finishes in the throw events … set an indoor personal best in the shot put at the Ichabod Invitational finishing fifth with a mark of 15.20m (49-10.50) … during the outdoor season at the FHSU Spring Invitational had two top-five marks with fourth-place finishes in the discus and the hammer throw … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

In 2022-23: Competed in 16 events with 15 top-10 finishes … scored points in the hammer throw at the MIAA Outdoor Championships finishing eighth with a personal-best of 56.79m (186-04) … took second at the Loper Twilight to finish the season in the discus throw  … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2021-22: Had nine top-10 finishes during the season … had two top-two finishes in the discus and had a PR in the discus at the MIAA Outdoor Championships in the discus with a mark of 51.31m (168-04) … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: As a senior he finished fourth in the discus at the state track and field meet and was the regional and league champion in the discus racking up four individual wins and three runner-ups in the event … as a sophomore he was seventh in the regional meet in the discus and third at the league championships.

Personal: Son of Jesse and Lori Magana … majoring in environmental biology.
