At Washburn: Has competed in 20 events as a member of the Ichabod track and field team team after spending two seasons with the Ichabod football program … has the 10th-best individual performance in the hammer throw during the outdoor season.

In 2022-23: Competed in seven events during the indoor and outdoor season finishing a season-best 13th in the hammer throw at the SBU Invitational and the SBU Invitational during the outdoor slate.

In 2021-22: Had a season-best performance at the FHSU Francis Classic in the hammer throw during the outdoor season with a mark of 47.33m (155-03) finishing seventh … placed seventh in the weight throw at the Washburn Open during the indoor season with a throw of 15.60m (51-02.25).

In 2020-21: Football season was canceled due to COVID.

In 2019-20: Sat out the season as a redshirt … named Ichabod work team offensive player of the week prior to the Central Missouri game.

Background: Played both linebacker and tight end and participated in track and field … a second team pick at linebacker as a senior after leading the Eagles with 111 tackles with eight for loss and an interception.

Personal: Son of Tommy and Jill Ayers … has a sister Sidney … father played at Pittsburg State and his mother played softball at Missouri State …majoring in mass media advertising.
