In 2020-21: Recorded the school record in the indoor shot put snapping his own record at 16.73m (54-10.75) en route to a first-place finish at the Washburn Open … also finished third in the shot put at the UCM Kennedy Invite during the outdoor season … overall had 18 top-10 finishes during the year … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2019-20: Set the school record in the indoor shot put with an NCAA provisional mark of 16.70m (54-09.50) picking up two points at the MIAA Indoor Championships … added six top-10 finishes including a second-place showing at the Kanas State Open … outdoor season canceled due to COVID 19 … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll

In 2018-19: Missed the indoor season … had 10 top-10 showings during the outdoor season … had PRs in the hammer throw with a mark of 50.27m (164-11) and 43.95m (144-02) in the discus at the West Texas A&M Classic… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2017-18: Finished sixth at the MIAA Indoor Championships with a throw in the shot put of 16.68m (54-08.75) which was a PR and the best throw of any Ichabod during the season and a school record for indoor for Washburn … placed fourth in the shot put and weight throw at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational and fourth in the same two events at the Jayhawk Classic … had a personal best in the weight throw at the Dodds Invite with a mark of 15.64m (51-03.75) … missed the outdoor season with an injury… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2016-17: Recorded two eighth-place finishes at the UCM Relays and the MSSU Invitational during the indoor season in the shot put posting six of the top eight throws in school history … placed a season-best sixth place in the shot put at the MIAA vs NSIC Showdown with a mark of 14.53 and had a discus mark of 42.90 … has five of the top 13 marks in the outdoor shot put … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: A four-year letterwinner in track, three-year letterwinner in football and lettered in wrestling his final two years … team made football playoffs all four years … was the Big 7 Conference shot put champion as a sophomore (2013-14) … Junior year took third place in shot put at state and was the Big 7 Conference discus champion … named All-League First Team as a lineman in 2014-15 and 2015-16 … qualified for state as a junior … placed eighth at the state track and field meet as a senior … National Honors Society member … four-year academic honor roll member … born in Geneva, Ill.
