Washburn University Athletics

At Washburn: Has competed in 31 events … has the fifth-best individual mark in the indoor pole vault and the seventh-best indoor pole vault mark in program history as well as the 10th-best 110m hurdle time.

In 2024-25: Competed in six events finishing a season-best second in the pole vault at the ESU Relays. 

In 2023-24: Competed in 12 events as a sophomore … had a personal best in the heptathlon with 4,445 points finishing 12th at the Washburn Open … had an indoor best pole vault height of 4.80m (15-09.00) at the Ichabod Invitational finishing fourth … was seventh in the outdoor season at the ESU Midwest Classic in the pole vault.

In 2022-23: Had 12 top-10 finishes including an individual title at the ESU Midwest Classic in the pole vault after clearing a personal best of 4.70m (15-05.00) … won the 110m hurdles at the FHSU Francis Classic in a time of 15.64 … finished ninth in the indoor heptathlon scoring 4,292 points … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

Background: Finished 18th at the 2022 Nike Outdoor Nationals competing for his club team … was third at the 4A Texas state championship meet clearing 15-0 and was second at the regional clearing 15-03 as a senior … as a junior he was seventh in the pole vault at the state meet and was third in the regional meet while finishing eighth at the regional meet in the 110m hurdles.

Personal: Son of Scott and Dawnelle … brothers, Kyle and Reese … his father played football at Washington and his mother played basketball at Seattle Pacific … majoring in business.
