At Washburn: Has completed in four event as an Ichabod … a five-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2024-25: Competed in three outdoor events after sitting out the indoor season … finished with a personal best in the 400m in a time of 51.86 at the Rock Chalk Classic … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2023-24: Sat out the indoor and outdoor seasons as a redshirt … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2022-23: Competed in the season-opening WU Alumni Invitational during the indoor season finishing 13th in the 400m in a time of 54.31 before missing the rest of the season … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
Background: The league champion in the 400m dash as a senior earning first-team all-league honors in cross country … a state qualifier in the 400m as a junior and the league runner-up in the 400m placing 11th at the state meet.
Personal: Son of John and Deana McCoy … majoring in kinesiology.
