Background: A graduate transfer who will have one year of eligibility for indoor and outdoor track … as a senior he was a 2020 NAIA Indoor track All-American earning first team KCAC honors winning the 5000m indoor championship and was named the KCAC Male Track Athlete of the Year … spent one cross country season at Washburn where he finished a season-best third place at the SBU Invitational in a time of 22;53.35 for the 7K course … placed 25th at the MIAA Championships in a time of 26:43.80 in the 8K run … at Allen County, he won the conference championship as a sophomore and named the most valuable runner for the Red Devils … team was regional and conference champs his sophomore year and finished fourth at nationals all sophomore season … as a freshman, he finished fifth at nationals in the 10K … at Bishop Carroll, he placed second at the state track and field meet in the 3200 and fourth in the 1600 and was eighth at the state cross country meet as a junior … his sophomore season he was fourth at the state cross country meet and finished third in state in the 3200m and fourth in the 4x800m relay.
