At Washburn: Has competed in 56 events in his Ichabod career … owns the school record in the 60m in a time of 6.80 and eight of the top 10 fastest times overall … also owns the school record in the indoor 200m in a time of 21.28 and six of the seven fastest five times overall … also has the school record in the outdoor 200m in a time of 21.04 and the second-fastest individual time in the 100m at 10.44 … a nine-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll between indoor and outdoor seasons.

In 2023-24: Recorded 10 top-10 performances finishing fourth in the 200m and fifth in the 100m at the MIAA Outdoor Championships … set the school record in the outdoor 200m in his final meet at the Loper Twilight in a time of 21.04 … recorded the Ichabod indoor 200m program best time of 21.28 at the Washburn Open … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2022-23: Competed in 13 events during the season recording 17 top-five performances … placed seventh in the 100m and second in the 200m earning team points …  won the 100m at the SBU Invitational in a time of 10.52 … was seventh in the 60m and sixth in the 200m at the MIAA Indoor Championships … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2021-22: Had a season-best outdoor finish in the 100m at the Rock Chalk Classic in a time of 10.80 and had a PR in the 100m at the MIAA Outdoor Championships with a time of 10.69 … had a PR in the 60m with a time of 6.95 … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2020-21: Finished an indoor season best at the MIAA Rust Buster placing fifth in the 60m in a time of 7.14 in the finals … had a career-best 6.99 in the 60m at the MIAA Indoor Championships … set the school record in the 100m at the MIAA Outdoor Championships in a time of 10.44 … named to MIAA Academic Honor Roll

In 2019-20: Placed ninth in the 60m at the Tjeerdsma Classic in a time of 6.99 setting a personal best and his 22.89 time in the 200m was also a season best … his 60m time is the third-best individual performance in program history … did not compete in outdoor season as it was was canceled due to COVID 19 ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: As a senior, he was an honorable mention all-state pick and an all-league selection in football also earning honorable mention all-league honors in basketball … named all-state and all-league in track … set the school and league records in the 100m with a time of 10.59 … placed third at the state meet in the 100m, eighth in the 200 and was part of the fifth-place 4x100m relay team … as a junior he was all-league in track and field qualifying and finishing eighth as part of the 4x100m relay team … was a state qualifier in the 100m, high jump and 4x100m relay finishing seventh … qualified for state in the high jump and 4x100m relay as a freshman … all-league academic selection four years.

Personal: Son of Jim and Amy Heiman … has a brother, Troy, and two sisters, Rachel and Paige … Rachel is a senior on the Ichabod track and field team … his younger brother Troy will be an incoming freshman on the Ichabod football team in 2023 … mother, Amy, played volleyball at Highland Community College … majoring in business.
