In 2025: Earned second team all-MIAA honors after batting .324 with 45 hits and 11 doubles while driving in 25 with three home runs … also went 4-2 in the circle with a 3.00 ERA in 51 1/3 innings pitched … was third on the team with 14 multi-hit games … had a career-high four hits against Northwest Missouri.

In 2024: An honorable mention all-MIAA selection at second base after batting .361 with 44 hits, seven doubles and 22 RBI starting 38 of 44 games … during MIAA play she batted .400 with 32 hits driving in 16 in 25 games … her five sac flies tied for second in the MIAA … had three hits in a game four times.

Background: As a freshman at North Central Texas College, she batted .306 with 12 home runs and 58 RBI helping her team to the NJCAA DI Regional Tournament … as a junior she batted .336 with four home runs and 40 RBI going 8-8 in the circle with a 3.18 earned run average en route to all-conference honorable mention honors … as a senior at Bells High School, she batted .456 with five home runs and 24 RBI going 16-4 in the circle with a 1.87 ERA adding 194 strikeouts earning Offensive Player of the Year, All-District MVP and was named the All-Texomaland Softball Player of the Year honors as a senior … as a junior, she batted .478 with four home runs adding 16 RBI and was a perfect 8-0 pitching with a 0.22 ERA with 50 strikeouts in a COVID-shortened season … as a sophomore, she had a .521 batting average with eight home runs and 60 RBI with a 14-1 pitching record with a 1.74 ERA with 163 strikeouts earning Co-Offensive Player of the Year honors as well as All-District Co-Pitcher of the Year honors with All-Texomaland and All-State honors … as a freshman at Silo High School in Silo, Oklahoma, she batted .487 with five home runs and 50 RBI with a 21-4 win/loss record with a 1.55 ERA and 162 strikeouts … she was named the league's MVP earning Pitcher of the Year and All-District MVP honors and was a finalist for the VYPE Player of the Year Award.

Personal: Daughter of Joe and Kasey Tanguma, has a sister Alicia who played softball at Howard Payne … a kinesiology major.
