Background: As a senior, earned Omaha World Herald All-Nebraska, All-Omaha Area, and Class A first-team, All-Sarpy County first-team, Lincoln Journal Star first-team, and EMC Academic All-Conference Team … helped Gretna Dragons go 38-0 with a Class A State Championship senior year … named Omaha World Herald Class A second-team and All-Metro Conference first-team as team went 32-4 with a third place finish as a junior … as a sophomore, named to All-Nebraska second-team, All-Sarpy County first-team, Omaha World Herald Class A second-team, and All-Metro Conference first-team as Dragons went 37-2 and finished as Class A State runner-up … also ran track, placing 12th in 100 meter hurdles as a sophomore.
