Erica Harper

Erica Harper is in her first season as a student assistant coach after wrapping her playing career in 2017 with the Ichabods. Harper was named second team NFCA all-region and was a first team all-MIAA pick as a designated player after leading the Ichabods with a .341 batting average starting all 55 games. She also led the squad in hits (58), home runs (10), total bases (97), tied for the team lead in RBI (29) and was third in doubles (9).

A transfer from Emporia State where she played one season starting 38 of 45 games finishing with a .314 batting average hitting six home runs with 38 hits, 10 doubles and 28 RBI while scoring 20 runs. Prior to playing at Emporia State, she set single season records at Barton County with a .457 batting average with 90 hits, 71 runs scored, 26 home runs and 94 RBI earning MVP and first team all-conference honors, first team all-region honors and NJCAA Third Team All-American honors. She finished her career at Barton with a .464 batting average, 156 hits, 35 home runs, 34 doubles and 141 RBI which all rank first on the Cougars all-time chart. The Topeka native was a second team all-conference pick as a freshman at Barton and was a second team all-city pick as a senior at Seaman High School.
