Background: As a senior, she batted .496 while recording a 2.3 ERA with 75 strikeouts in 62 innings pitched helping team to a state runner-up finish earning second-team all-state all-class and first team Class A as well as Omaha Class A first-team and Omaha Metro Coaches Team honors and was a Nebraska Academic all-conference selection … her junior season she was a second-team all-state selection also earning all-metro and all-Coaches team honors and Lincoln Journal Start all-state honors after hitting .358 with 60 strikeouts in 68 innings pitched with a 2.7 ERA … as a sophomore she was an all-state selection earning all-metro and all-coaches team honors as well as Omaha World Herald first-team all-state honors and Lincoln Journal State super state honors and the Nebraska all-state honors hitting .352 with 150 strikeouts in 130 innings pitched with a 3.00 ERA … as a freshman she was an honorable mention all-state selection and all-metro after batting .354 with 90 strikeouts in 90 innings pitched.
