Biography
In 2025: Started 50 games playing in all 52 recording a .230 batting average with four home runs and 24 RBI with 31 hits and seven doubles … also scored 22 runs … named the MIAA Hitter of the Week on Feb. 18 after htting two home runs and driving in six against Arkansas Tech … started 39 games at third base and 11 at first base … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
Background: As a sophomore at Johnson County, she earned KJCCC honorable mention all-conference honors was the team's second-leading hitter with a .417 average (73-for-175) with 23 doubles and 17 home runs which both were second-best on the team, and her 50 RBI ranked third … she tied for the team lead in multiple-hit games with 24, and she was third in multiple-RBI games with 15 … as a freshman, she earned All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference D-II and Region 6/Plains District first-team after batting .448 (56-for-125) with 13 doubles, two triples, four home runs, 27 runs scored and 49 RBI leading the team in both hits and RBI, and was second in doubles and home runs and her 49 RBI ranked sixth in the conference, producing 15 multiple-hit and a team-best 13 multiple-RBI … at Paola High School, she was a three-year starter earning all-state honorable mention as a senior … a three-time All-Tri-County first-team selection and a two-time All-Frontier League performer where she hit .339 with 20 hits, five doubles, 16 runs scored and nine RBI while helping the Panthers to a regional title as a freshman … as a junior she batted .587 with 27 hits, eight doubles, two triples, six home runs, 19 runs scored and 32 RBI … she capped her prep career hitting .403 with 25 hits, six doubles, two triples, two home runs, 25 runs plated and 16 RBI … she was a four-year starter in basketball averaging 20 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, earning her the Tri-County Spotlight Girls Player of the Year her senior season also garnering all-State second-team, all-Frontier League first-team and all-Tri-County first-team … as a track and field team member, she qualified for the State Championships in the shot put as a junior and in the shot put and discus her senior year, and placed ninth in the shot put.
Personal: Daughter of John and Allison Ediger and has a sister, Abby … her father played football at Hutchinson Community College and her mother was an All-American catcher at JCCC and went on to play softball at Auburn … she is majoring in business.
