Background: A first-team all-state selection after leading Silver Lake to its second-straight championship game picking up unanimous first-team all-league honors … as a junior she earned first-team all-league, all-county and all-state honors helping squad to second-place finish at the state tournament after going 15-2 with a 1.24 ERA and 92 strikeouts also finishing with a .450 batting average … as a sophomore she was a first-team all-league and all-county selection after going 19-3 in the circle and was an honorable mention all-state pick after striking out 73 with a 0.63 earned run average.
Personal: Daughter of Jarod and Alysia Cook … a brother, Alek … will major in elementary education.
