Background: In her two seasons with the Jackrabbits, Goos appeared in nine games and was a Summit League Academic Honor Roll member … at Manhattan High School, Goos helped lead the Indians on the mound and in the field to team’s first state tournament appearance since 2004 in the spring of 2023 … in the circle as a senior, she pitched 112 innings, struck out 204 batters while recording a 2.18 ERA, and led Indians at the plate with a .462 batting average to go along with five home runs and 27 RBI … she was named the 2023 Spring All-Flint Hills Female Athlete of the Year … she was a two-time Kansas Class 6A All-State Softball Team, including a first-team selection as a junior as a utility position player after hitting .372 that season along with a .439 on-base percentage and .640 slugging percentage connecting on two home runs with eight runs scored and 24 RBI … she also pitched 103 innings in 2022 and struck out 94 batters en route to first team all-state and all-league honors … in 2021, she earned all-league honors with 96 strikeouts in 60 innings pitched … was part of the Missouri 4A State Championship in 2019 at Blue Spring High School tossing 66 innings as a freshman with 41 strikeouts before moving to Manhattan.

Personal: She is the daughter of Nick and Karen Goos and has a brother, Jackson, and a sister, Maya … her dad played football at Central Missouri and her mother played volleyball and was a member of the track and field team.
