In 2017: Batted .204 with 29 hits making 28 starts and appearing in 49 games driving in 15 as a sophomore … recorded two game-winning hits with a career-high tying three against Pittsburg State … hit .238 in MIAA play … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and a member of the NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete listing.Â
In 2016: Started all 46 games behind the plate recording a .313 batting average as a freshmen with 41 hits driving in 16 runs scoring 13 times adding three home runs including two against Emporia State with the second coming on a walk off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh … batted .347 in MIAA play … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and the MIAA Academic Excellence Award.
Background: As a senior she was named first team all-league at catcher … named second team all-league as a junior … as a sophomore she had the game-winning hit in the regional championship game sending her team to the state tournament … played for the Olathe Rockets club team finishing second in the USSSA World Series.
Personal: Daughter of Tony and Glinda Myers … majoring in elementary education … twin sister Lexie is a junior with the Ichabod softball team.
