Background: Helped Johnson County win Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II and Region 6/Plains District Championships and finish in a tie for ninth at NJCAA Division II World Series  … named All-KJCCC Division II and All-Region 6 Division II second-team … played in and started 51 games … batted .410 with 19 doubles, a triple, six home runs, 19 walks, 42 runs scored and 60 driven in … registered 19 multiple-hit and 16 multiple-RBI games, which tie for fifth all-time on JCCC’s season chart … JCCC Student-Athlete Academic Award Winner with a 4.0 GPA … as a freshman at Johnson County, she Named All-KJCCC and All-Region 6  Division II honorable mention … played in and started 53 games … batted .391 (63-for-161) with 17 doubles, two triples, 10 home runs, 26 walks, 53 runs scored and 44 RBI … at Manhattan High School, she was named all-state by the Kansas Softball Coaches Association first-team her senior year … was a four-time all-league selection … as a senior she  earned first-team all-state and all Flint Hills honors and was named the Centennial League Player of the Year … batted .417 with 30 hits, eight doubles, two triples, four home runs, with 28 runs scored and a team-high 30 RBI, 13 walks with just seven strikeouts … selected All-Centennial League first-team a sophomore and junior and earned second-team as a freshman … selected KSCA All-State honorable mention as a sophomore and junior …  as a sophomore she batted .300 with 20 hits, three doubles, a triple, 19 runs and 17 RBI … hit .421 with 27 hits, five doubles, a triple, two home runs, 12 runs scored and 14 RBI as a freshman … finished her career with 104 hits, 22 doubles, five triples, six homers, 86 runs and 88 driven in … also competed in basketball and volleyball … an honor roll student all four years.

Personal: Daughter of Kevin and Beth Neitzel … two sisters, Logan and Gracyn … plans to major in business.
