As a freshman at Maize High School, she batted .500 as a freshman with 16 RBI playing third base … moved to second base as a sophomore and recorded a .275 batting average as the Eagles won the 6A state championship going 22-3 on the season … as a junior she was named first team all-league at first base recording a .425 batting average with 15 RBI and a .963 fielding percentage … her senior season she was a second team all-league pick after batting .428 with 17 RBI placing third at the 6A state tournament … a four-year honor roll winner graduating with a 3.8 grade point average … played summer ball for the Kansas Renegades Gold.
