Biography

As a Junior in 2013-14
Played in all 27 games and started the final six games as a guard...averaged 2.5 points and 2.3 rebounds a game...scored a then-career-high nine points February 13 at Central Oklahoma in her first career start as she was 2 of 4 from the field and 4 of 4 from the free throw line...she then improved on that total with her first career double-figure scoring game with 10 points in the season finale on March 3 against Southwest Baptist in the MIAA tournament...she was 3 of 5 from the field that game and 4 of 4 from the line...she averaged 4.7 points a game in her six starts.

As a Sophomore in 2012-13
Played in 27 games off the bench as a guard...scored 31 points to average 1.1 a game and had 21 rebounds...had four points and four rebounds, both season highs, in the season opener on November 14 against Southwestern...finished the year 12 of 14 from the free throw line for a .857 percentage...had a season-high three assists January 12 at Nebraska Kearney.

As a Freshman in 2011-12
Played in 17 games off the bench…scored 17 points to average 1.0 a game…was 5 of 11 from the field to shoot .455…had six rebounds…had a season-high five points in the opener on November 4 at Cal State-Dominguez Hills and then again against Southwest Baptist on February 11…had a season-high three rebounds against Lincoln on February 25.

Cheney High School (Cheney, Kan.)
Led Cheney High School in scoring, assists and steals as the Cardinals went undefeated winning the 4A state championship in 2010-11, her senior season...averaged 15.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 3.7 steals per game during the state title run, including a team-high 15 point, 9 rebound performance in the state championship game...a first team all-state selection as a junior and a second team pick as a sophomore...a two-time first team all-conference pick also earning second team honors as a freshman.

Personal
Parents are Rochelle and Lee Nikkel...majoring in accounting...her brother, Garrett Nikkel, played football at Fort Hays State.
