Alexis McAfee is in her first season as a student-assistant coach after playing for the Ichabods from 2017-20.

After playing one season at Wayne State (Neb.), McAfee transferred to Washburn where she started all 90 games she played and finished with 919 career points, 499 rebounds, and 244 assists. She finished her career with the fifth-most defensive rebounds in program history (366) and 14th all-time in steals (151).

McAfee was an All-MIAA Honorable Mention selection after the 2018-19 season and was a three-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll Member. She will graduate with her bachelor's degree in kinesiology in December 2020.
