Kara Lee will begin her first season as a student assistant coach in 2014-15 after playing for the Ichabods last year.
Lee averaged 9.1 points and 4.4 rebounds playing in all 27 games in 2013-14. She started all but seven games at center and scored in double figures 11 times. She started her playing career at Hutchinson Community College where she helped the Blue Dragons to a 66-4 record in her two years. She then played at Missour-Kansas City in 2012-13 and averaged 3.5 points and 2.6 rebounds a game off the bench.
Lee is majoring in physical education and she plans to continue coaching after graduating in either the high school or collegiate level.
She was born in Topeka and attended Seaman High School.
