Monique M. Scott

Monique M. Scott begins her first season as a member of the Ichabod women’s basketball coaching staff for the 2023-24 season after previous stops at Langston Chapel Middle School, Statesboro High School and Xavier University.  

Scott is a certified Special Education Registered Behavorial Technician and Mathematics teacher. Her most recent coaching stops have coordinated with teaching. Scott spent the 2021-22 season at Langston Chapel Middle School in Bulloch County, Ga. While there she assisted with player training, fundraising and program operations.  

In the 2020-21 season Scott was an assistant coach at Statesboro High School in Statesboro, Ga. Working with the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams.  

While at Xavier, Scott was a manager for the women’s basketball team for all four years working with athletic coordinators and coaches to build all aspects of the program. During her time the Musketeers compiled a 57-66 record and reached the BIG East Tournament once, in 2016.  

Scott is a native of Bedford, Ohio and she attended Bedford High School. She got her Bachelor of Science degree from Xavier in 2019. Scott obtained her Master of Arts: Special Education degree from Liberty in 2022 and is working towards her Doctorate.  

She lives in Lawrence, Kan. with her husband, Eric.
