As a freshman at Labette Community College she was an honorable mention all-conference selection at catcher earning first team all-region after batting .374 … as a sophomore she moved to third base and was a first team all-conference, first team all-region after hitting .455 … was an academic all-American selection … a second team all-league pick as a freshman at Parsons High School earning all-league honors as a junior and senior and second team honors as a sophomore … was honorable mention all-state as a senior in basketball.
