In 2005-06 as a freshman
Played in 19 games as a freshman averaging 2.2 points per game … hit 5 of 10 3-point attempts … scored a career-high seven points against Missouri Valley on New Year’s Day.

Background
A 2005 graduate of Salina Sacred Heart High School, where she averaged 16.7 points and 5.0 rebounds  a game as a senior to lead the Knights to a second place finish in the Class 2A state tournament and a 23-3 record … earned all-league, all-county and all-state honors four seasons for the Knights … scored 555 points as a junior to finish with a 23.0 points a game average to lead the squad to a 22-2 record and state tournament berth. Finished her career with 1665 points, 540 rebounds and 371 assists.

Born Nov. 18, 1986 … daughter of Jim and Rose Wittman … father played basketball at Fort Hays State, while her mother played basketball at Butler County and Fort Hays State …  sister Dani is a senior on the University of Kansas volleyball team.
