Background: In cross country she finished eighth at the state meet and was ninth at the Nike Cross Country Regionals and was third in the 800m at the state track championships … as a junior she finished 14th at the state meet in the 800m and she was eighth at the 800m at the state meet as a sophomore … as a freshman she finished 13th at the state track meet in the 800m … also a four-time state medalist as part of the 4x800m relay team with four top-five finishes.
