Background: As a senior in cross country she was the regional champion finishing eighth at the 6A state cross country meet … in track, she won the regional title in the 800m, 1600m and 3200m runs breaking the school record in the 800m and 1600m winning the state title in the 1600 finishing the runner up in the 3200m … as a junior she finished 18th at the state cross country meet and in track was the Wichita city league 3200m champion as well as the regional chap in the 1600m, 3200m and part of the 4x800m relay team while placing seventh in the 1600m and fourth in the 3200m … her sophomore season she was a state qualifier in cross country and track winning the league 3200m title. 

Personal: Daughter of Elida Garcia … two sisters, Dennys and Aliyah … majoring in social work.
