Background: A four-time state cross county qualifier finishing 53rd as a freshman, 91st as a sophomore, 18th as a junior and 38th as a senior including a sixth-place regional finish as a senior and a fifth-place finish as a junior … in track, she was a state qualifier as a senior finishing 12th in the 800m and was fourth in the 1600m at the league championships … also an all-state, all-academic selection for cross country.
Personal: Daughter of Brian and Mary Blachly … a brother, Athan … a sister, Ayla … her father competed in track and cross country at Kansas … majoring in nursing.
