Enters final semester with a 50-21 overall singles record and has gone 60-20 in doubles play …her 60 doubles wins is tied for 10th all-time at Washburn and her 50 singles wins is 17th on the Ichabod charts …a three-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and MIAA Scholar Athlete teams … has been named all-MIAA in singles and doubles four times.

As a senior in the fall of 2014
Has gone 6-3 in singles play reaching the round of 16 of the ITA Regional in singles and has gone 6-1 in doubles play with Jodie Blackim winning the A Flights of the Bethany and Emporia State invitationals while reaching the round of 16 of the ITA Regional.

As a Junior in 2013-14
Finished singles play with a 19-8 record while going 24-5 in doubles play … a second team all-MIAA selection with Jodie Blackim in doubles … won the Washburn Invitational in singles play and reached the semifinals of the Bethany Invitational and the quarterfinals of the ITA Regional Tournament … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and the MIAA Scholar Athlete teams … winner of the MIAA Sportsmanship Award.

As a Sophomore in 2012-13
Earned honorable mention all-MIAA at No. 2 doubles … went 16-8  overall in doubles play and 12-6 in singles … went 6-2 in MIAA singles matches … teamed with Sophie O’Neill at No. 2 doubles to go 8-4 at No. 2 doubles including a 6-2 MIAA record … won both her matches in the MIAA tournament victory over Emporia State … advanced to the finals of the Washburn Invitational doubles competition and won the consolation bracket of the singles A flight … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and the MIAA Scholar Athlete teams.

As a Freshman in 2011-12
Was an honorable mention all-MIAA selection at No. 5 singles and No. 3 doubles after going 13-4 overall including a 5-2 mark at No. 5 singles … finished a combined 14-6 in doubles with an 8-1 record at No. 3 doubles … went 5-2 in tournament singles … placed first at the Washburn Invitational in the “B” singles draw … advanced to the semifinal of the Bethany Invitational in the “B” singles flight … went 5-2 in tournament doubles … teamed with Annie Doole to win the Bethany Invitational in “B” doubles … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and the MIAA Scholar Athlete teams.

Background
Buchman is a current member of the Ichabod basketball team … finished with a perfect 15-0 doubles record her junior year at McPherson High School and won the class 5A state doubles title … she won 135 matches in her four year prep career setting the school’s girls record.
