Casie Curry

Casie Curry begins the 2023-24 season as a graduate assistant coach after playing the 2022-23 season on the Ichabod squad where she went 16-11 in singles play from No. 3 through No. 5 for Washburn compiling a 22-6 record in doubles playing primarily from No. 3. Her .786 doubles win percentage is 13th best in program history and she was named an All-MIAA honorable mention at No. 5 singles along with second team honors at No. 3 doubles . Prior to Washburn she recorded a 110-34 combined record in three seasons at Midwestern State going 50-22 in singles and 60-12 in doubles play. She was named to the LSC Sportsmanship team and a LSC Senior of the Year. She collected a combined record of 38-10 going 18-6 in all singles play, including a 10-2 record at No. 4 earning All-LSC First Team Singles. She earned a 20-4 doubles record with three different partners earning All-LSC Second Team Doubles. As a junior she collected a 23-13 combined record on the season going 16-3 in doubles play named first team all-league doubles earning All-American doubles honors. As a sophomore went 9-2 at No. 2 doubles. She was named the Lonestar Conference Freshman of the Year and honorable mention all-conference in doubles going 15-3. At Rider High School she was a four-year letter winner and a Texas 5A state doubles qualifier in 2017 and state quarterfinalist in 2018. She is the daughter of Curtis and Debbie Curry... brother Chase played tennis at Midwestern State … brother Connor played tennis at Texas Tech … an occupational therapy assistant major.
