Two-time All-American Logan Morrissey returns to the Washburn coaching staff for the 2025 spring season as a volunteer assistant coach with the women's team. She served as a graduate assistant for the 2021-22 season after wrapping up an accomplished career with the Ichabods.
Morrissey finished as Washburn's all-time leader for career doubles victories with a record of 93-35 and held an overall singles record of 69-49. She earned ITA All-American honors twice in doubles and finished ranked as the No. 1 doubles team in the nation in 2019 after going 29-6 with partner Alexis Czapinski. Morrissey also earned a place on the all-MIAA first team at No. 1 doubles twice as well receiving a nod to the all-conference second team at No. 3 singles her freshman year and an honorable mention nod at No. 4 singles and No. 1 doubles in 2021.
Off the court, Morrissey excelled academically and was a five-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and was named an MIAA Scholar Athlete three times. Additionally at the conclusion of the 2021 season, she earned the MIAA Academic Excellence Award and was an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
Morrissey is from Lee's Summit, Mo., and earned her bachelor's in forensic investigation in May 2020 and graduated with her master's degree in criminal justice.
