Washburn University Athletics

Former Ichabod Miller Zeiders is in his second season on the Washburn coaching staff after serving as a graduate assistant coach in 2022-23. Zeiders will serve as a volunteer assistant during the 2023-24 season. 

Zeiders was named the ITA Central Region women’s Assistant Coach of the Year after the 2022-23 season. He helped the Ichabods to a MIAA Tournament Championship and an appearence in the National Quarterfinals for the first time in program history. 

After beginning his college career at Rhodes College, Zeiders went 11-3 overall in singles play with a 9-6 record in doubles competition. He went 6-0 in singles play over his final two seasons. 

During his four year career with the Ichabods Zeiders was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll in 2022 and was named an ITA Scholar-Athlete in 2021. 

Zeiders is a native of Edmond, Okla., and graduated with his bachelor’s degree in integrated studies in May 2021. He currently lives in Topeka and is working towards his masters.
