Biography

As a Senior in Fall 2011
Went 4-4 in tournament singles and 2-4 in tournament doubles … teamed with Whitley Zitsch at the Washburn Invitational to reach the doubles consolation final.

As a Junior in 2010-11
Named honorable mention all-MIAA at No. 2 doubles … finished with an overall singles record of 13-8 going 7-5 in duals, 6-3 in tournaments, and 4-4 in MIAA action … placed second in the “A” singles flights at the Washburn Invitational and Bethany College Tournament … finished 16-4 overall in doubles going 12-2 in duals, 4-2 in tournaments, and 5-2 in MIAA matches … teamed with Whitley Zitsch to win the Washburn Invitational doubles championship.

As a Sophomore in 2009-10
Awarded first team all-MIAA at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles … finished the season with a 20-7 overall singles record going 7-0 in conference play … went 20-11 overall in doubles matches … teamed with Trang Le Nguyen to win the Washburn Invitational doubles championship.

Background
Rainey transferred to Washburn after her freshman year at Drake … as a freshman for the Bulldogs she mainly played No. 3 singles finishing the season with a 7-12 overall record … played No. 2 doubles finishing the season 17-11 overall … while at The Barstow School she finished her prep career with a 56-8 record winning three district single titles and two district doubles titles … as a senior she won the Missouri state doubles title after finishing runner-up as a junior.
