In 2018-19: Place a season-best second in the javelin at the West Texas A&M Classic with a throw of 36.38m (119-01) … had her PR at the MIAA Outdoor Championships in the javelin with a mark of 36.51m (119-09).
Background: Finished second in the javelin in the league meet and at the regional meet and finished third in the discus at the regional qualifying for state as a senior finishing sixth in the javelin also qualifying in the discus … was also a first team all-all-county selection in volleyball and basketball earning honorable mention all-state honors in basketball … as a junior she was a stat qualifier in the javelin and discus finishing 11th in the javelin … also a first team all-league pick in volleyball … as a sophomore she finished 14th at the state track meet in the javelin and was the regional champion also earning all-league honors in volleyball … was class Valedictorian and a Kansas Honor Scholar.
Personal: Daughter of Brett and Mary Dannels … has two sisters (Catherine and Molly) and brother (Trace) … her mom threw Javelin at Emporia State … majoring in nursing.
