Mandy Wilson

Mandy Wilson is in her first season as an assistant coach with the Washburn track and field and cross country programs. In high school she received 15 State Medals in class 3A. Within those 15 Medals she was a four-time state champion in the 400m, a three-time state champion in the 4x400, a two-time state champion in the 4x800 with the state record of 9:32.61 and one time state champ in the  100.
After high school she continued her track and field career at Highland Community College for two years placing seventh seventh at nationals in the 600m in 2013 and fifth at nationals in 2014. She received National Junior College Womens Track Coaches Association All-American honors for the 600m in 2014 holding the record for the 500m and 600m receiving first team All-Region and first team All-Conference for the 600.
After graduating from Highland Community College with an Associates in Arts and Sciences she continued her career and education at Fort Hays State University where she placed eighth at Outdoor Conference in the 4x400 in 2016. She graduated from FHSU with my Bachelors in Science of Psychology and now she is continuing her education at Washburn pursuing her Masters in Psychology.
