In 2019-20: Sat out the indoor season as a redshirt … outdoor season canceled due to COVID-19.

In 2018-19: Had a indoor season-best sixth-place finish in the triple jump at the Tjeerdsma Classic with a mark of 11.15m (36-07.00) … placed eighth in the long jump at the Jayhawk Classic with a mark of 5.20m (17-00.25) … finished fifth in the triple jump at the West Texas A&M Classic at 11.10m (36-05.00).

Background: As a senior she was the 4A Kansas state champion in the long jump and the triple jump breaking the meet record in the triple jump at 39-11 winning league titles in long jump and triple jump … also a first team all state selection as a senior and was named the league volleyball player of the year and first team all-league … as a junior she was the the league champion in the long jump and triple jump winning the state title in the triple jump and finished second in the long jump … her sophomore season she was the league champion in the long jump finishing second in the triple jump winning the 4A state title in the long jump and triple jump … as a freshman she was league winner in the long jump finishing second in the triple jump … finished fifth at the state meet in the 4x100m relay and sixth in the triple jump.

Personal: Daughter of David and Linda Barrett … has a brother Grant … majoring in criminal justice … father and brother played basketball at McPherson College.
