Biography
At Washburn: Has competed in 13 events between track and cross country … has the fifth-fastest individual performance in the 3000m and the sixth-best time in the indoor mile … also has the fifth-best 5000m performance and the ninth-best performance in the 1500m during the outdoor season.
In 2025-26: (cross country) Competed in five events finishing a season-best 33rd at the JK Gold Classic at Wichita State (track) competed in eight events during the track season finishing seventh in the mile at the Ichabod Invitational in a personal-best time of 5:07.54 … had a personal best in the 5000m of 17:56.13 at the WashU Distance Carnival … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
Background: Was a first team all-region selection after finishing 14th at the NJCAA Cross Country Championships after placing second at the league meet as a sophomore and finished 21st as a freshman at the national championships and was sixth at the league meet as a freshman … in track she placed 17th at the NJCAA National Championships in the 1500m and was fifth at the region meet as a freshman at the outdoor championships and she placed fourth at the national indoor meet as a freshman in the 1000m and was 18th in the mile … finished 15th at the state indoor championships in the 800m as a senior.
Personal: Daughter of Kirk Collins and Dawn and Chase Wright … a sister, Allie … two brothers, Chase and Myles … majoring in kinesiology.
