Background: As a senior she finished fifth in the pole vault after winning the league and sectional championships and was also all-league, all-area, all-district and all-state in volleyball helping team to a 31-5-1 record … as a junior she she was the league and sectional champion in the pole vault and finished fifth at the state meet earning all-league, all-area, all-district and all-state honors in volleyball … won the league title in the pole vault as a sophomore finishing ninth at the state meet.

Personal: Daughter of Dale and Becky Herl … a sister, Jordyn … two brothers, Dawson and Dayne … father played basketball at Nebraska-Kearney … mom ran cross country at Sterling …  brother Dawson played quarterback at Missouri Southern and Central Oklahhoma and is currently playing in Sweden … brother Dayne played tight end at Missouri Southern … a pre-med major.
