In 2020-21: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
In 2019-20: Competed in five events … had a season-best 11th-place finish at the Nebraska Graduate Classic in the 400m in a time of 1:02.74 … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2018-19: Recorded PRs in the 60m and the 200m at the indoor Graduate Classic in times of 8.32 and 27.30.
Background: Finished seventh at the state meet in the 400m as a senior while also qualifying in the 200m … part of sixth-place finishing teams in the 4x100m and 4x400m as a junior … placed fifth in the 400m at the state meet as a sophomore placing eighth on the 4x400m relay team … finished sixth in the 4x100m relay as a freshman also qualifying in the 4x400m relay … also played basketball.
Personal: Daughter of Jerry Sr, and Shevella Gatson … has four brothers … brother Royal ran track and Kentucky State … majoring in French and Spanish.
