At Washburn: Between cross country and track has competed in 56 events … has the 10th-best individual performance in the 3000m during the indoor season in program history and the fourth-best times in the 3000m and the third-best time in the 3000m steeplechase during the outdoor slate …  a 13-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2023-24 (cross country): Took part in five events during the season finishing a season-best 32nd at the season-opening Griffon Twilight … had her best time of the season at the Chili Pepper Cross Country Festival … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll … (track): recorded her best time in the 3000m steeplechase at the MIAA Championships with a time of 11:35.42 … also had PR's in the 1500m at the Rock Chalk Invite in a time of 5:02.48 and the 5000m in a time of 19:43.21 finishing seventh … had a season-best finish in the 3000m steeple at the SBU Invitational in a time of 12:20.38 … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2022-23 (cross country): Competed in six events during the season finishing 16th at the Bearcat Open to start the season … (track): had a 10th-place finish in the 3000m steeplechase in a time of 12:13.05 setting a personal record … placed sixth at the Rock Chalk Classic in a time of 12:25.00 in the 3000m steeplechase … finished ninth during the indoor season at the Ichabod Invitational in the 3000m in a personal-best time of 11:01.31 …  a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2021-22 (cross country): Had a season-high 19th place in the three mile course at the Masterson Twilight ... she ran her best 5K time with a 19:56.6 at the MSSU Stampede ... member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll (track) had a season-best in the indoor mile at the Washburn All-Kansas Invite in a time of 5:50.17 finishing 16th … placed 12th in the outdoor season at the SBU Invitational in the 3000m in a time of 11:02.40 … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2020-21 (cross country): Did not compete … (track): Had an indoor personal best in the 3000m with a tie of 11:27.56 at the Ichabod Invitational … placed fourth in the 3000m at the All-Kansas Invite … recorded a PR at the Pitt State Tune-Up in the 800m with a time 2:42.66 … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2019-20 (cross country): Had her best time on a 5K course at the MSSU Stampede with a time of 21:06.00 finishing 206th … had a season-best 6K course time at the MIAA Championships in a time of 25:23.30 ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. (track) Competed in three events during the indoor season … recorded a PR in the mile at 5:51.18 at the MIAA Indoor Championships … outdoor season canceled due to COVID-19 ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: Won the city cross county championship as a senior finishing first at the league meet and qualifying for sectionals as a senior … as a junior she was the individual title in two regular season meets earning first team all-league and all-district teams as well as honorable mention all-sectional … finished 29th at the state cross country meet … qualified for sections as a sophomore … a first team all-league pick as a freshman finishing ninth at the state cross country meet earning all-metro honorable mention honors … also played basketball.

Personal: Daughter of Rod and Michelle Briggs … on sister, Amy … majoring in entrepreneurship & innovation … sister Amy played basketball at Johnson County and at Truman State.
