Biography
As a Junior in 2011
Played in 35 matches with 22 starts as a middle hitter...earned honorable mention AVCA All-America and AVCA first team all-South Central Region…named second team all-MIAA…averaged 2.70 kills per set while hitting. 316, third best on the team…averaged 0.72 blocks per set and 3.27 points a set…had 13 double-figure kill matches with a season-high 18 in the NCAA tournament first round match against West Texas A&M on November 18…hit .630 that match with just one error in 27 attempts…had her second career double-double October 1 against Angelo State with 16 kills and 11 digs…reached double figures in digs three times with a season high of 12 on November 5 against Pittsburg State…had five or more blocks five times.
As a Sophomore in 2010
A first team AVCA all-region and second team all-MIAA honoree…finished second on the team with 283 kills and 2.42 kills per set...her .311 hitting percentage was third on the team and eighth in the MIAA...led the team and was sixth in the league with 0.88 blocks per set and 103 total blocks on the season...had 10 matches with double figure kills, including a career-high of 15 three separate times...had one double-double where she registered a career-high 11 blocks to go along with 14 kills in win over Missouri Western on September 18.
As a Freshman in 2009
Saw action in 88 sets with 36 matches played and 13 starts...was third on the team averaging 2.40 kills per set...had 211 total kills and hit .286...had eight double-figure kill matches, including a career-high 13 in the NCAA South Central Region win over Nebraska Omaha on November 19...named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
Crete High School (Crete, Neb.)
A 2009 graduate of Crete High School where she was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball, basketball and track & field for the Cardinals...she earned first team all-state as a senior and second team all-state as a junior...named to the second team super state (all classes) team as a senior...an honor roll member every year...helped her club team, the Nebraska Juniors, to the 2009 national championship...club teammates with Tessa Brophy.
