Played in 74 games and 30 matches with 12 starts as a freshman middle hitter...had 107 kills on the year to average 1.45 per game...had three double-figure kill matches and reached five-plus blocks three times...had a season-high 12 kills against Arkansas-Monticello on 10/13/06...in that match she hit .478 with one error in 23 attempts...hit a season-high .700 on 10/11/06 against Fort Hays State with seven kills in 10 attempts with no errors...had a season-high eight blocks on 10/14/06 against Harding.

Sacred Heart High School
A three-time all-league and all-county selection for the Sacred Heart High School Knights, earning all-state honors as a junior in Class 2A...graduated in 2006...led her team to a Class 2A state title in 2004 with a 37-1 record and was named to the all-tournament team...helped the Knights to a second-place finish at the Class 3A state tournament with a 36-2 record her senior year and was named to the all-tournament team...led the Knights in kills, blocks, aces and hitting percentage her last two seasons and set school records with 104 blocks as a junior and 100 aces as a senior...Sacred Heart went 99-9 in the last three seasons with Bechard as a starter...started her last two seasons for the basketball and softball teams at Sacred Heart.
